Resistance of heart stops us from cultivating authentic and deeply satisfying relationships, especially with ourselves.

My name is Tara and I'm a Reluctant Yogi. My heart felt mission is to share accessible practices with those that thought they'd never roll out a yoga mat, pull up a meditation cushion or want to digest their emotions.

I came to yoga and meditation out of necessity as a highly anxious teen with a traumatic background and a strong dose of perfectionism. Mindfulness practices used little and often over time galvanized a life dedicated to health, vitality and a deep sense of contentment.

I'm an RYT 500E yoga instructor and YACEP educator,  a certified iRest Meditation instructor and a Shiatsu-Anma/Chi Nei Tsang Abdominal massage practitioner of +20 years. I'm a Qi Gong enthusiast, a hobby potter and a dedicated foodie.

Here at Studio T: Resources for the Reluctant Yogi you'll find access to individualized 75 minute private sessions incorporating shiatsu to ease stress and pain, abdominal massage for physical and emotional digestion, and co-guided iRest meditation to tap into your innate healing capacity. You'll leave each session with a little yoga homework: a postural, breath or meditative practice.

You'll also find short Yoga, Qi Gong, Breath, and Meditation Bytes. These byte size instructional experiences allow you to meet your inner Reluctant Archetype and invite it into action towards your own goals of health, vitality and contentment.
